Simple Tips for Dealing with Anxiety in 2022

Make 3 columns on a piece of paper:

Write down your fear/anxiety. 

Next to this write down what you can do right now. 

Act or review.

Fear/Anxiety

What can I do now

If nothing review at a set time tomorrow

For example;  

Fear of flying

  • Breath to calm self
  • Do Havening
  • Imagine landing safely
  • Imagine being met at airport

 

  • Review in 12 hours time.
  •  
  • After plane lands safely review your fear and state whether justified or not.
   

Fear of presenting at meeting

  • Calm breathing
  • Imagine yourself as someone you admire as a speaker
  • Stand tall and slowly
  • Do Havening
  • Review presentation
  • Write down what you could do differently
  • What was there to be fearful of?

These are just two common examples.
