Relationship Therapy

When we talk of relationships we do not always associate all the different types of relationships there are.  The first relationship that comes to mind is usually romantic relationships.  However, there are many other types of relationships such as, Work relationships, which include being bullied, or not being able to communicate with a team or boss.  The relationship between single people and their friends can also be a major problem to the individual.  There is also the relationship between Parents and their children, whether young, in their teens or as adults, it is sometimes hard to know how to handle the situation.

Most romantic relationships have their ups and downs, some couples cope with these very well, whilst others can struggle.  It is during the times that you don't seem to be getting anywhere that you need help.  Yvette has been working with couples for a long time and during that time she has been able to solve many different problems for couples, and for individuals whose partners have chosen not to attend for therapy.

When you are in a relationship by ignoring problems and unwanted behaviours can seriously damage the relationship, whether the problems are long standing or a one off, unresolved problems lead to more conflict and misunderstandings.

During therapy you will be able to clearly see your options, and make, sometimes very hard, decisions as to whether you want to stay in the relationship or leave.  If you stay then you need to be able to communicate clearly and form new patterns of communication and behaviour within the relationship.

Relationship therapy can help you to communicate and form the new patterns of behaviour that are required to cope.
