The Importance of Rapport in Communication

Often sales people will be blocked by prospective clients, simply because they don't have the skills to build instant rapport with the client.

How often would you lose a sale because the person you are dealing with just does not feel that you "get what they are saying".

Perhaps some of you just don't even get the time to get your message or offer across.

Approximately only 1 in 20 people are able to achieve rapport, and much much less instant rapport.

All the above situations are losing you money and sales.  So what can you do to improve your sales ratio?

Intervention Description

In this course we explore how people learn, we also can identify what method of receiving information is best for them.  As well as this we learn to read the signs of when we are in rapport.

Once this is achieved we can learn the strategies the person uses to make a decision and then we can install them in ourselves.

It is a fact that when someone feels you are like them they like you.  If you are not like them, they tend not to like you. 

Rapport is one of the things that all the Master Communicators have in common, it is the ability to form a relationship with people with no actual one to one contact, simply by building rapport.  Examples of this would be Richard Branson, you may not agree with him, but you would find it hard not to listen to him.  Winston Churchill is another example, he kept the people of Britain together during World War One.  Perhaps you have seen old newsreels of him on posters pointing and saying -  "Your Country Needs YOU". 

And also have heard sayings like "Take Care, Walls have ears".

Why Should a Business undertake this intervention

So how useful would it be if you could establish relationships without having said one word!

What about those Sales Calls, or cold calling, How useful would it be if you could establish rapport easily and effortlessly, and be able to keep the person listening, so that they actually get your message, and by the time you hang up, even if you have not made a sale, you have built a relationship, so they may be more open to you, or recommend your company as a great contact.
