How to check your mental health well-being

Do you have a churning feeling in your stomach?

Do you have trouble sleeping?

Do you feel overwhelmed and don’t know why?

Do you have trouble communicating at work?

Do you feel irritable with no particular reason?

Do you feel stressed out with no reason?

Do you feel low in spirit?

Do you cry for no reason?

Do you want to stay in bed and pull the covers up?

Chances are that if you have answered yes to any of the above, that you are suffering from anxiety or stress. 

When we feel overwhelmed by everyday life, there is usually a reason, however, sometimes we don’t know what that reason is. 

Some people can have symptoms that resemble having a heart attack, and attend A & E and after a series of tests are told that they are not having a heart attack, but they could be having a panic attack, and these attacks can be caused by stress.

There are many reasons that we can suffer from anxiety or stress, some of which are known, and some are not obvious.
